Kilamupi is located in a beautiful valley formed by two major rivers Upano and Yuquipa. Our coffee farm can be found at a height of 1.000 m above sea level, thus providing the best climatic conditions for the cultivation of Arabica coffee.

Every high-quality coffee is largely a result of an extensive process. Apart from having the best environmental conditions for growing coffee at Kilamupi,we also show commitment to our plantation and its crops, including dedicated assistance and supervision.

It is important for us to perform each production process carefully, by preparing the soil with only the best organic nutrients for planting young Arabica trees, combatting diseases,  picking ripe coffee berries almost daily and sorting harmful ones out regularly.

Only such a labour-intensive procedure guarantees the production of the best coffees in that region.

Merino & Bleumink is a small family business which dedicates itself to handmade coffee production on a farm located 11 km from Macas. All the activities involved in the process of coffee production are pursued with passion and respect for the environment. We only make use of organic fertilizers, harvest only ripe cherries, monitor the drying and roasting process and use only hand sorted coffee beans.
